Worthy of All (February 2012)
Scripture:  Mark 12:41-43 / Luke 21:1-4

This is a familiar story of the Widow’s Mite.  Two small copper coins captured the heart of Christ at the temple and He reveals to His disciples that her gift far exceeded that of the wealthy. Although the monetary about was significantly smaller in the eyes of the world, the sacrifice was everything the poor woman had.  The two small coins, represented largely in this painting due to the heart of the gift, serve
to remind us that God is worthy of ALL that we have and ALL that we are. He deserves our best!
