Creating mixed media mosaics began by asking the question: "Can bronze relief sculptures be combined with mosaic work?" While waiting for the first round of bronzes to return from the foundry, Ann tested the concept using faux painted resin pieces. What she discovered was that the resin pieces worked better than the bronze and began a whole new path of art making -- mixed media mosaics. Click on the image to the left too see the work.
