When it came to creating an image for this passage, I was honestly stumped and sketched three different things.  It wasn’t until I was ready to place it on canvas that God brought the images together into one composition.  Many times the
images in the works are not depictions of what is in the passage but rather a response to the character qualities of God.  I was moved by this passage in the way God reveals the motives of His listeners.  We are open to Him just like a book and He reads everything written on our hearts and knows it all completely.  That astonishes and humbles me.
