Under the wings of the Most High is the inspirational idea behind Psalm 91.  I would have to say that this is the piece that I was a bit disappointed with but learned a great deal from.  I attempted to use the hidden figure as the central theme and then I drew wings using oil pastel.  The colors I used contained more opacity than I wanted and so much of the drawing underneath is lost which was a bit disheartening.  The process is a reminder to me that even when we are in the shelter of the Almighty there are still going to be tough times, times of disappointment from which I can either choose to sulk over or use them to build my character and hope for what lies ahead.
