Psalm 83 (December 2007)
15" x 16 1/2" - canvas banner Again, attempting to portray God’s seemingly silent streaks, I wanted to create it in a different way. I used the arch and image of a world to set the stage for the area I wanted to leave blank to represent silence. I again used a silvery, peaceful tone which is calming and silent in its own right. Beneath the paint layer, there is an oil pastel drawing of a figure embracing another. This image is a representation of how often times I am taken at God’s ability to be in control over the whole earth and yet still be my close friend and confidant. Even if He is silent sometimes, I am assured that He is always with me. |
