Portraying God’s amazing quality of peace proved to be a challenge since the style in which I work is very detailed and active.  I wanted to create a place of silence in the banner for Psalm 57 and by splitting the piece in half I was able to accomplish the task.  I also added the light colors and the large space of blue because these colors soothe the viewer and blue is often related to the idea of peace.
