Beneath the myriad of green lies an oil pastel image of an ear with lines moving in to represent God as a listener and hearer of our cries, pleas, and prayers.  I was inspired to work in all green after having previously tried a monochromatic scheme in yellow on one of the other banners.  It seems that the whole piece was created through a dialog of where to place what color of green, listening, and responding to what I “heard.”
