Psalm 48 (October 2007)
30 3/4" x 14 3/4" - canvas banner Three major character traits permeate the painting that is Psalm 48: love, eternal, and fortress. The image of a path narrowing serves to represent God’s eternal quality and is painted in yellow which reminds me of the golden streets of heaven where every believer will spend all eternity. Love is not only represented by the color red in the piece, but also by the oil pastel drawing of a heart centrally located. The final trait, protector, is visualized through the hidden image of a lock. God’s ability to shield and protect me bring great peace and comfort, which is what the blue shows in the painting. |
