Beneath the surface of this peaceful praise is a figure with one solitary tear.  A tear of thankfulness perhaps, one produced in awe of the bigness of God, or in His ability to take time to lift the countenance of one of His creation.  Psalm 30 reminds me that nothing is impossible for God and nothing is too little, or silly, or stupid to take to Him, He cares about it all down to the last detail.
