The Way to Life is through Jesus Christ our Lord the Son of God.  Psalm 128 is based off this truth of God sending His Son to be our Salvation and Christ’s statement in John 14:6,  “I am the way the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.” Although many may view this as narrow-minded, the Bible clearly states that what is important in Salvation is what you or I choose to do with the figure of Christ.  If we believe in Him and His work on the cross and resurrection from the dead than we can be assured that we will spend all eternity with the living God.  The green of the painting represents this life and the arrow at the top of the hidden cross shows that life is eternal because of Christ’s sacrifice for you and for me.
