Although at first glance this painting may not seem to be in the category of promise pieces, a closer look reveals the colors of the rainbow in muted tones beginning with yellow in the center of the work’s spiral and radiating out from there.  Crossing the middle of the spiral’s beginning is a cross hidden within the painting.  The colors remind me that God’s love, blessings, and sovereignty are promises of His faithfulness to me.
