Jesus spoke of His death many times, particularly in these passages.  He explains what must happen to Him and that He will rise again. All aspects of Jesus’ life were answers
to prophecies we read about in the Old Testament.  Jesus even shared of His own future and knowing what was to happen. If you look closely you will see a cross outlined in the painting as well as a tomb hidden below the surface painting and some lines motioning upward to represent His rising.  I hope viewers will ponder the All-Knowing quality of the Savior through this piece
