Scripture:  John 13:18-30

    Look for the elements of communion in the layer behind the paint.  Christ instituted a new promise to us the night he was betrayed.  He gave believers a way to remember what He was about to do for us on the cross.  WE call this communion.  The bread He broke and shared represents His body broken for us and the wine represents the blood He shed to take away the burden of our sin.  Our job – simply believe He did this for you.  He changes lives radically and came for the lost, outcast, and needy.
