“How can an image come from just a short passage of scripture,” I wondered as I read these verses in Matthew.  It was unmistakably clear that the quality I was to respond to in this passage was Christ being Light and that knowing Him means He makes me shine just as He does.  I’m reminded that the One I am to reflect is the One who makes me shine!   Wow!
