Often titles for this series come not just from the piece but from the scripture behind it.  I invite the viewers to open the Bible and see for themselves why I’ve titled the painting as I have.  Christ invites each person on the journey of following Him but He tells them there is a cost and it should be counted.  In my experience the trip is worth the it!
