Humbles / Exalts (June 2013)
Scripture:  Luke 18:9-14

Jesus tells a parable in this passage to explain that God desires a spirit that is humbled and broken for when that person is, God can exalt him. However a spirit that is exalted in the eyes of man may be humbled by God.  I’d rather be the first, humbled before the Almighty so that to His glory He may raise me up if He so desires.
