Bringer of Division (August 2012)
Scripture:  Luke 12: 49-53

Christ says in this passage that He came to bring division.  This is clearly seen in families where one or two have come to know Him as Savior and others have not.  This is also
seen all over our world.  People of God are different from the rest of the world as they have a relationship with the Lord of Hosts – the One True God.  This doesn’t mean that they hate the world, it should mean that they love the world more than those who just do religion. However, He also says not to be surprise if the world hates you if you know Him, for if the world hated Him they will also hate you.
