Jesus may have been crucified on the cross, dead and buried, but He didn't stay in the grave.  He arose from the dead and He IS ALIVE.  That is a fact to be celebrated!  He has overcome death and that darkness that currently controls our world.  This is the hope - He is with me, He hears your prayers and mine, and He is near because HE IS ALIVE!  What a wonderful Savior.
