 As I read through the gospels, I am amazed at how many times we are told that Jesus fulfilled prophecy and the
  law.  This painting is to show this quality of the Lord.  He is
the One who came and accomplished the payment the law required.  His coming was foretold and He came as He said and paid the price for us all.  The painting of blues and
gold hides a scroll of paper and a pen to represent the law.
