Two times in this painting there is an image of one figure holding another, one drawn in oil pastel and the other hidden within the random colors of the work.  I was inspired by how God is our faithful Father, and values His people and gives so freely to them.  It is because of these promises fulfilled, that I chose to use the rainbow colors associated with promise. I also applied these as a wash so that one could see the painting underneath.
