The thought of Christ’s intense, radical love is the inspiration behind this painting.  I took the image of the heart and not only hid three interlocking ones to represent the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but also reinforced the idea by rippling the shape formed by the hearts out from the center to the edge of the piece.  I want viewers to take time to read the words on this painting and reflect on the radical love of Christ.
