Psalm 98 (January 2008)

Sing a song of praise proclaiming the worthiness of the God of Salvation and love. A figure in Psalm 98 opens his mouth to do just that while the cross stands behind him as a reminder of what he is singing about and for. So often in the arts it is easy to want to perform or create in order to self-promote. God intended these gifts not for self-gratification but for His glory and worship. It has taken several years of my life to realize that I have this gift of painting to worship my God whether or not I ever sell anything or if anyone ever sees the work. He sees it and that is good enough for me!
