Lifting hands in corporate praise is the basis of Psalm 47.  Nothing compares to standing among others in worship to God.  I often stop and listen to the voices around me and imagine what it will be like when one day I join other believers from all generations, nations, tribes, and tongues to give praise and honor to the King.  The bright, warm reds and oranges along with the upward lines of the painting help to create the idea of praise in the work.
