The redemption of man and its coming from a Holy God are the two major points to Psalm 130.  Although no one is able to stand in the presence of this Holy God, He humbled Himself, taking on flesh, to come and die for you and me.  That is an awesome and praiseworthy deed!  The colors of the painting reflect this act of praise.
