The heart of Psalm 107 is praise to the One who hears and counsels us to bring us to a place of deliverance lifting our heads and then ultimately satisfying every need and desire we have.  Several things to look for in this painting include silver, oil pastel under the top layer of paint as well as three figures stair-stepping their way from the bottom left corner to the upper right corner of the work.  These figures are of the progression from burden to rescue to praise!  We each experience this at various times in our lives and I hope it brings hope to viewers that God is indeed the Most High and who He says He His.
