Jesus was human and so in that day it meant travelling to share any news was no little task.  I am often reminded of Christ’s humanness when I hear of Him taking a journey – some of which ended with less than a “welcome.”  He understands what it takes to move about the world and He understands every physical need.  I love that! He knows!
