Jesus was the promised Messiah from the Old Testament who came to save the world by His sacrificial life which ultimately was laid down on the cross.  He is the One that goes before us to prepare the way, He is the Only Way to God and Heaven, and He is the One who will sit as Judge when this life is over.  So my question to you is:  What will you do with Jesus?  I hope this painting will visually remind us that He is the promise and that He is the separator of good and evil, light and dark, and heaven and hell.
