Jesus was not like any other man: He was God in the flesh who dwelt among His people, teaching them with all authority of the Father.  This painting serves as a reminder of how amazing the Lord is and that He is the One which I should build my life on.  Under the metallic paints and rays of gold lies a drawing, in oil pastel, of the corner of a brick building.  This image represents the strength present when life’s foundation is on Christ.  I reinforced the building image by using my finger to “paint” brick shapes in the under painting.
