I grew up on an acreage and I spent the summers playing in the trees near our  home.  We had to run across a prairie to get to our fort and on that land there were wild flowers.  Although they are not lilies but these experiences and love for nature and flowers is what inspired this painting.  I tried to give it a dynamic feel with primary colors.
