When I read this scripture I was impressed by how Jesus knew His calling with such depth and how He knew His dependence on His Father was a necessity. He knew everything and yet He took the time to listen and answer the request of people, and not just men but women as well which was unheard of in His time and culture.  He took the time then and He shows His compassion now through His people.
